The Amazon MCP alternative that works for your margin, not Amazon’s.
Amazon’s official MCP is two servers built around its own platform: a Seller Central plugin designed not to discuss your margin or your prices, and an Ads server you can only connect with your own approved API application. Epinium MCP is one connection for Seller, Vendor, Ads, Shopify and WooCommerce, across Europe and every account you run, with 100 playbooks written from the seller’s side — and it writes your campaigns and workflows, paused until you say so.

Epinium MCP vs Amazon MCP: the short answer
Epinium MCP is the alternative for brands that want an assistant working for their P&L. Amazon’s official MCP is really two servers built around Amazon’s platform. The Selling Partner plugin runs Seller Central from Claude as a US-only beta, one account and one marketplace at a time, sellers only, with no advertising — and its skills are designed to decline questions about your margin and to give no pricing guidance. The Amazon Ads MCP Server is hosted by Amazon but requires your own approved Ads API developer application, and the advanced tools it highlights launch a campaign in one prompt and expand it to new countries. Epinium MCP is one connection for Amazon Seller, Vendor, Ads, Shopify and WooCommerce, across every marketplace you sell in, Europe included, with 100 playbooks written from the seller’s side: the maximum bid your real margin allows, the spend you waste competing with yourself, the FBA reimbursements Amazon owes you, the ASINs to delist. It writes workflows and Sponsored Products campaigns that stay paused until you switch them on, and manages Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, portfolios and tasks. Amazon still does FBA inbound shipments and direct listing edits better.

Amazon’s MCP is enough if…
- You sell only in Amazon’s US stores, on one account, and what you want from Claude is Seller Central operations — free and first-party.
- Your bottleneck is logistics: around forty FBA inbound operations, restock forecasts at 7/30/60 days and listing edits with a validation preview. On that ground Amazon is ahead of every third-party tool, Epinium included.
- You have developers with an approved Ads API application and want to build your own ad agent on raw API access rather than use a method someone has already written.
Choose Epinium MCP if…
- You want advice from your side of the table. Amazon’s skills are built to give no pricing guidance and to decline margin questions. Epinium’s playbooks start from your margin: the breakeven ACoS and maximum bid per ASIN, the paid spend on terms you already rank for organically, the FBA reimbursements you are owed, the ASINs to fix on price, fix on cost or delist.
- You advertise and want it automated, not just editable. Describe a rule and get back a workflow that is validated, simulated, priced before it runs and left paused until you switch it on — with Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns managed from the chat and every change logged for 90 days.
- You sell in Europe or on more than one account. Amazon’s plugin is a US beta, one account and one marketplace per call. Epinium reads every marketplace you connect — Spain, Italy, Germany, France, the UK — with an agency mode across accounts.
- You want one connection, no developer project. Seller, Vendor (1P), Ads, Shopify and WooCommerce behind a single Epinium key or OAuth login — instead of a Seller plugin that excludes Vendor and an Ads server that needs your own approved API application.
Amazon’s toolkit stays out of your margin. Epinium’s starts from it.
Amazon’s Seller skills are designed to decline margin questions and to give no pricing guidance in either direction, and the advanced tools its Ads server highlights launch a campaign in one prompt and expand it to new countries. These are six of the 100 playbooks Epinium serves over MCP — every one of them starts from your P&L.

Is Epinium MCP an alternative to Amazon’s MCP?
Yes. Epinium MCP connects Claude or ChatGPT to Amazon Seller, Vendor and Ads plus Shopify and WooCommerce in one connection, across every marketplace you sell in, Europe included, and serves 100 playbooks written from the seller’s side. It writes workflows and Sponsored Products campaigns, paused until you switch them on, and manages Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, portfolios and tasks. Where Amazon’s plugin is still better is logistics — FBA inbound shipments and direct listing edits — and if that is your main job in the US, it is free and first-party.
Is the Amazon Ads MCP Server hosted by Amazon, or do I have to build it?
Amazon hosts it: there are NA, EU and FE endpoints and you add it to your AI client by URL. What you cannot skip is the developer setup. Amazon’s own prerequisites are an Amazon Developer account, an approved application with access to the Amazon Ads API and a Login with Amazon security profile with its client ID and the callback URL of your client. It ships prompts that guide the use of its own tools, but no optimiser or automation. With Epinium MCP you connect Amazon once inside Epinium and use an Epinium key or OAuth login.
Why won’t Amazon’s MCP tell me my margin?
Because its toolkit is built not to. Amazon’s open-source Selling Partner toolkit includes a test that expects the assistant to decline a question about your exact margin after fees, and its pricing skills are told to give no guidance in either direction. Epinium’s playbooks start from that margin — breakeven ACoS, maximum bid and profitability per ASIN. And the MCP serves the data behind it directly: Amazon fees, net sales, margin before advertising and returns per product.
Can I use Amazon’s Selling Partner plugin in Europe?
Not yet. At launch it is a beta for sellers in Amazon’s US stores on the Professional plan, and Amazon has said international expansion is planned without a date. Epinium MCP already reads every marketplace you connect — Spain, Italy, Germany, France, the UK and the rest. Our Accelerate 2026 write-up covers what the plugin includes.
What does Epinium do that neither Amazon server does?
Automated advertising: workflows written from the chat, simulated and priced before they run. Several accounts and marketplaces in one conversation, with an agency mode. Vendor Central, Shopify and WooCommerce in the same connection. And a method that works for your P&L — cannibalization, harvesting, FBA reimbursements, hijack recovery, delisting — instead of prompts for operating the platform.
How much does each one cost?
Amazon publishes no separate price for either server, and offers 12 months of Amazon Quick Plus free to primary account holders until 31 December 2026. Epinium MCP reads on every plan, including the free one; writing to Amazon ships with the Business plan at €349 a month. Details on Epinium pricing.
