Data Deletion Policy
Last updated:
1. Purpose
This policy explains what data Epinium S.L. (“Epinium”) stores when you use the app.epinium.com platform, how you can delete it, and how long it takes to disappear from our systems. It complements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
2. What data we store
- Account data: name, email address, company and invited users, along with their preferences and settings.
- Amazon data: from Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads connections we import and store your catalog, campaigns, sales and advertising reports, and order reports. Order reports may include buyers’ personal data.
- Data from other integrations: all other integrations (Shopify, WooCommerce, Meta and others) work through MCP only: they query your data in real time when you ask for it, and we do not store it in our database. For these we only keep the connection itself, that is, the linked account and its access credentials.
- Content you create on the platform: tasks, workflows and their executions, brands, views, notifications, and the files you upload or export.
3. How to delete your data
3.1. Delete a connection
You can delete any connection at any time from the platform:
- Log in to app.epinium.com.
- Go to Settings → Connections.
- Open the menu of the connection you want to remove, click Delete and confirm.
Deleting an Amazon connection erases all the data we imported through it: products, campaigns, reports, orders (including buyers’ data), histories, and any tasks that only concerned that connection. Deleting any other connection erases the linked account and its access credentials. The deletion starts immediately and cannot be undone.
3.2. Delete your entire account
If you also want us to delete your account, including its users, files and content, email support@epinium.com from the account owner’s email address with the subject “Data deletion request”, stating the company or account name.
We will verify that the request comes from the account owner and delete the account and all its data within 30 days at most. We will confirm the deletion by email.
We will only keep the information the law requires us to retain, such as billing records, for as long as that obligation lasts.
4. Data obtained through Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
Epinium does not store the information from your Facebook or Instagram accounts in its database: the Meta integration works through MCP only, which queries your data in real time when you ask for it. All we keep is the connection: the linked account’s identifier and the access token.
You can delete that connection in either of these ways:
- From Epinium: delete it as described in section 3.1. It is erased immediately.
- By email: write to support@epinium.com as described in section 3.2. We will erase it within 30 days at most and confirm it by email.
You can also revoke Epinium’s access from Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (or Business integrations, if you linked a business account), select Epinium and click Remove. The token stops working immediately and we can no longer query your data. To erase the connection record as well, use one of the two options above.
5. Automatic deletion
Besides the deletions you request, the platform automatically deletes data once it is no longer needed:
- When a Shopify store is unlinked or stays unauthorized for an extended period, its connection is deleted.
- When you move to a plan with fewer connections, the ones that no longer fit are deactivated and, after a grace period, deleted.
- If a free-plan account goes unused for an extended period, we delete the data of its connections. We email you beforehand, and simply logging back in prevents it.
- Technical records (workflow executions, change histories and activity logs) expire on their own after a set time.
6. Backups
Backups are kept for one month and then deleted. This means data you have already deleted may remain in them for up to one month afterwards, without being accessible from the platform. After that period it is gone completely.
7. Contact and changes to this policy
For any deletion request, email support@epinium.com. To exercise your other rights over your personal data (access, rectification, objection, restriction or portability), email legal@epinium.com, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
We may update this policy when our processes change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
